Rolling Hills Middle School

All students enrolled in English Language Arts use Pearson's My Perspectives curriculum.  Classes teach to the Ca. Common Core Standards with integrated ELD standards.  For each quarter, students will read a variety of literature and informational texts, be called on to improve their speaking and listening skills, and have multiple chances to work on their writing.  Students will produce a non-fiction narrative for quarter one, an explanatory essay for quarter two, an argumentative essay for quarter three, and a research paper for quarter four.
